To ABC and all parties concerned,
I write to condemn your indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
This is not television programming—it is capitulation. It is censorship. It is cowardice. You punished a man for speaking against those who weaponise outrage, who brand comedians "enemies," who call journalists "scum," who crush truth while peddling lies.
You did not merely suspend a show. You bowed to power. You executed free speech. You chose tyranny over truth—and cash flows over freedom.
This moment transcends any single comedian. It is about whether words may be spoken without terror of retribution, whether truth has sanctuary on American airwaves, whether a free people remain free, or become subjects needing permission to think.
Satire exists to provoke, to challenge, to sometimes offend. That is not its unfortunate side effect—it is its public duty. When criticism becomes cause for cancellation, when dissent brings danger, liberty dies.
What remains? Propaganda masquerading as entertainment, approved by authoritarians.
"Es zittern die morschen Knochen"—"the rotten bones tremble"—the Brownshirts sang as they destroyed democracy. Today’s marchers carry different banners, but the bones tremble just the same.
Reinstate Jimmy Kimmel. Now. Loudly. Defiantly.
Or admit what you have become: not professional media, but servants of silence, enemies of critical thinking, collaborators with those who would make cowards of us all.
It is precisely when speech is uncomfortable, unpopular, or “offensive” that the principle of free expression is tested—and must be upheld.
“I might disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”
The world is watching.
Choose your side.
